ghosts.

dslr photographs, 2019

Ghosts is as experimental body of work that is a visual representation of the concept of movement and blur. It explores the nostalgic feel of being lost in time. Capturing movement and blur in photographs demonstrates the nostalgia of time passing and further the nostalgia of analogue photography. It compels the observer to question their place in time, situating themselves in the moment lost yet captured in the photographs. I wanted to present a moody and mysterious environment, using shadow and blur to partially obscure the subject, and make the viewer contemplate what it is, and what is its intention. The images were taken on a DSLR camera at dusk.
